How the terracotta is enamelled :
Step 1 : The cakes of clay are cut before placing then into a stamp machine.
Step 2 : The cakes of clay are put through a machine to be stretched and then cut into tiles of the same caliber.
Step 3 : When the tiles are removed from the stamp machine they are ready to be put into the steam oven to be dried.
Step 4 : The tiles are removed from the steam oven after about 10 days
Step 5 : When the tiles are dry they are put into an oven for 48 hours.
These are the tiles after 48 hours.
Step 6 : The raw tile is then enameled.
Step 7 : After enamelling , the tile is cooked, the enamel is set, it is ready for use.
